There Can Only Be One…

Published by violetteb at 11:02 pm under Does the Shoe Fit? Edit This

I never knew there were so many primaries that could count. Neither did the Democratic Party. What will happen to us this year? What will happen to our country? Whatever it is, it is not going to be as fun as what could happen at the 2008 Democratic Convention. Don’t you wish you could be there to support Hillary, I mean Barack, I mean Hillary, did you mean Barack?

Here’s an SNL skit that aired recently. Enjoy.

…are you still counting?

The election this year has been insane on the Democratic side. I’m not sure what I’m going to end up doing myself. My support has been for Hillary all the way though.

Funny SNL clip… I wonder if hill will just just on her own anyway… maybe she could run as an independent. That would be different… instead of the lesser evil you can pick the lest of the less, or lessor evil.

The US election process is very entertaining for the Non-US parts of the world. My fear however is that the wrong party will be elected purely because the right party couldn’t get its act together behind one candidate before they were too exhausted to fight for the bigger fight.

@ reginaavalos - me neither. While it has been entertaining to say the least, it is a very sad commentary.

@ chato - lest of the lessor three, would that be the lestest. LOL

@ katieanne - we aim to please in the states don’t we. We definitely need to revamp our system.

The Dem primaries have been a scream, and the skits are to die for. I started with one candidate in mind and I am hoping that they will be there at the end of the catfight so they can continue on.

Course there could always be the Obama/Clinton Clinton/Obama Ticket. HAHA, yea.

Yes, I’ve been missing it, something to do with parenting, being tired and stress, but I finally reached the ranks of being a DVR household…SNL, here I come!

As Clinton very hamfistedly pointed out, this isn’t the first time that a primary has stretched out this far. In fact, the only reason that the Democrat primary looks so protracted is that the Republican primary was tied up so early.

Still reeling at that… I wasn’t aware that McCain had actually become a viable candidate until way too late in the game.

Yes, who knew he’d make it. He had a strong showing the last time didn’t he, although I don’t remember how strong and against whom. LOL
