Bad Movie Reviews
So in light of Open Water I have to ask if you have a list of movies you wished you never watched. Some so called great movie where you either went to the movie theater and bought the whole nine yards of buttered popcorn and a bucket of soda…oh and don’t forget the sticky candy that your mom wouldn’t let you eat when you were a child…or you wasted two or more hours staring at the TV in the comfort of your own home, violated to be sure.
I’ll be honest; I’m weird and usually get the movies that others “don’t get,” remember Dead Again. I had a few friends walk out of that movie because they couldn’t follow it.
I figure some movies with high expectations still entertain considerably more than some with no expectations at all and vice a versa. It all evens out. Let’s call it the yin and yang of moviedom.
Since I’m tired I probably can’t list too many movies off the top of my head and for some reason Ishtar screams out as the worst movie ever. I mean really, Dustin Hoffman and Warren Beatty this is the best we could do?
There has to be a worst movie…probably the many I’ve seen featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3000).

I’m not a big movie watcher, but I remember watching some with my ex and thinking “I really need to just walk out of this living room and do something worthwhile”.
Just about any Jim Carey movie qualifies with me, except for The Truman Story.
Now, I’d give Bruce Almighty a few stars, but maybe because of the story and the supporting cast.
Hell Raiser was my ugliest movie yet. It made me puke!
I can tell you there are not many that I just don’t like because I watch movies all the time. One most recent one that I did get, but just did not like is The Happening.

No Country for Old Men:
Beautifully acted. Beautifully Directed. Masterfully executed. And I hated the story so much that I wanted to sue to get my two hours back.
Dead Ringers:
This movie made me physically ill.
Meet the Feebles:
Also made me ill. Note: This was directed by Peter Jackson. And it’s muppet splatter porn.
I just thought of another horrid movie. Little Monsters with Fred Savage (The Wonder Years) and Howie Mandel…and I think it was for children.
Good Lord, I wish I had not watched the latest Indiana Jones movie!
I would have to say that I am Legend is a movie that I wish I had not paid to see. My husband and I both left the theater about 45 minutes into the movie. Will Smith is a decent actor but this movie was the just worst deal around. It was slow and had to many of those “startle effects” that the movie just did not flow right for me.
