Thanksgiving in Ten
It is Thanksgiving in ten minutes and I suppose I should be worrying about whether or not the bird will be thawed in time and if the store opens when I think it does in the morning so that I can pick up the things I still need (good thing the grocer is very near by my locale).
Well, maybe I should worry more that I don’t undercook or overcook that dang thing. I didn’t even see if it had one of those fancy pop-up breast thermometers.
Wait what about the whip cream for the pie…it’s pumpkin pie you know, we NEED the whip cream…wait don’t skimp on the butter, need real butter for those rolls. What? Creamer for the coffee? I’m sure that will complete the pumpkin pie experience.
How many calories did you say that was? I guess I have more important things to worry about…
