I hate to do this to you. If you have kids they may like this. I’ll be honest I’m a fan of some really cool Sesame Street episodes, you know the ones…like when they have REM on or Whoopi Goldberg. But, yeah I said but, I’m not certain about this Season 39 episode featuring Neil Patrick Harris as Sesame Street’s Shoe Fairy. (Didn’t I say it was shoe related and that is why I’m torturing you, I mean entertaining you with Sesame Street this Saturday…oh and did I say Shoe Fairy?)
For anybody who has forgotten who Neil Patrick Harris is and hasn’t caught his new show How I Met Your Mother, he is Doogie Howser, M.D., I’m sorry did I date myself there?

Do I need to state the obvious? Is it me or has every news clip I’ve seen referencing an interview with Rod Blagojevich had a female interviewer. Are the networks sending out the skirts to corner this guy?
Just as I’m thinking this last night, Jon Stewart on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show has clips of Geraldo Rivera chasing down Blagojevich in the parking lot of The View because he was avoiding Geraldo Rivera. Wait I just found that Larry King was his first Prime Time interview after spending his day interviewing with ABC’s Good Morning America and The View. Perhaps Geraldo was trying to beat Larry to the punch.
Who didn’t have to stalk Rod Blagojevich to get an interview? Let’s see to date I have found Gov. Rod Blagojevich being interviewed by Cynthia McFadden, co-anchor of Nightline; Cynthia Bowers of CBS News; Rachel Maddow of MSNBC; Campbell Brown of CNN… what no Greta?
Greta Van Susteren of FNC must be a member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pantsuit. Actually, I think Greta is on his list of interviewers tonight perhaps after he sees Glenn Beck, don’t know who should feel slighted, Glenn Beck or Greta Van Susteren. Of course, it might be that Greta is playing Glenn’s interview if she can squeeze it in between a clip of Bill O’Reilly and a Rush Limbaugh rant. Outside of that the best FNC could do was have Geraldo chase Blagojevich down in a parking lot to be followed up by Mike Huckabee interviewing former Gov. John Rowland of 2004 governor scandal fame this weekend.
Whatever…it is just great to see these networks getting their due with top interviews. (Dripping sarcasm people.)
I’ve posted weekend YouTubes and although I’d love to share something in relation to the Chinese New Year from YouTube I thought I’d take a YouTube break and share with you what you don’t want to see on YouTube. I’ll keep it on topic and tell you what you shouldn’t waste your time on at YouTube that might have had anything to do with the Chinese New Year or the Year of the Ox.

Two days before President Obama’s inauguration there was a concert at the Lincoln Memorial. That was about the time that the new U2 single was released from their upcoming No Line on the Horizon – Get On Your Boots. I don’t think they performed Get On Your Boots but here is U2 performing In the Name of Love and City of Blinding Lights posted by YouTube user voltsz.
YouTube user pussycatpreacher posted this remix of some of Obama’s speech and U2 singing In the Name of Love that is worth a peek too if you don’t mind watching U2 perform twice. You know I don’t.
