Throw-a-Shoe at Bush, The Time is Now
Oh, I get the shoe news for you people. I’m amazed at how many non-fashion related shoe stories there are in the world. On Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday in San Francisco, inauguration events include a Throw a Shoe at Bush activity. I’m not making this stuff this up. Sounds more fun than a dunk tank doesn’t it?
The event, co-sponsored by Direct Action to Stop the War and Courage to Resist, allows you to throw some shoes in protest of the war. Don’t want to hurl your Prada shoes, have no fear they’ll have some shoes available for the event.
Now isn’t that better than knowing that the hottest trends in shoes this year is the color nude?
Ooh, can I throw Steel toecapped boots? Or maybe a biiig pair of thick wellies? That would be fuuuun. Expensive, though.
