U2 Lincoln Memorial Concert with Obama

Published by violetteb at 12:01 am under Barefoot, Dancing Shoes Edit This

Two days before President Obama’s inauguration there was a concert at the Lincoln Memorial. That was about the time that the new U2 single was released from their upcoming No Line on the Horizon – Get On Your Boots. I don’t think they performed Get On Your Boots but here is U2 performing In the Name of Love and City of Blinding Lights posted by YouTube user voltsz.

YouTube user pussycatpreacher posted this remix of some of Obama’s speech and U2 singing In the Name of Love that is worth a peek too if you don’t mind watching U2 perform twice. You know I don’t.

My age is showing I’m sure when I say, I’m not a fan of U2, but it’s one of the groups I actually know the name of…so thats something. lol

Can you imagine the level of excitment there is DC these past couple of weeks…I envy anyone who got to be a part of it first hand.

Argh, sigh, second video was removed for ToS violation…:S And I wanted to see it… Hate it when that happens. -sighs- Poor account was suspended too — guess this is why I decided to stick to some other video site in future. XD
